My father always made sure to incorporate daily vitamins into my siblings and I’s routines since we were young. As much as I hated taking them when I was younger, I truly do appreciate those times when I was sent off to school with a gummy bear vitamin.
Now, as a young adult who is learning to take care of herself on her own, I have tried my best to do research on what supplements are best for me to take to keep up my health as a woman. I made sure to put in the extra effort after I got off of birth control, as the small pill made my body go through drastic changes, ruining my health both physically and mentally.
Here are the supplements I make sure to include in both my morning and night routines that I’ve noticed have made my body and mind thrive.
Daily Probiotic - Smarty Pants Womens Multi and Omega Gummy Vitamins

These vitamins are essentially an ode to my childhood. As I grew up taking the gummy bear vitamins, taking a gummy vitamin as an adult brings back memories of my morning routine as a child. These gummies are full of premium nutrients that are essential to women’s health, such as omega-3 EPA and DHA essential fatty acids, vitamin D3, which strengthens immunity, vitamin B12, which helps boost metabolism and energy, CoQ10, strengthening one’s heart health, and vitamins K1 & K2 for bone health. It is recommended to take six a day, however, since I am more on the petite side and a young adult, I only take three.
2. Hair, Skin, and Nails Vitamin - Lemme Glow

As a woman, I find it necessary to take supplements that support my hair, skin, and nail health. Of course, you feel your best when you look your best. I have found the Lemme Glow vitamins have proven to be perfect for strengthening the health of the areas of my body that are paid the most attention to. The gummies are gluten-free and do not contain any artificial ingredients, all while holding the key ingredients of grass-fed collagen peptides, biotin, ionic trace materials, Vitamin A, Vitamin C, Vitamin E, and zinc. While making me look good, they also taste scrumptious.
3. Sleep - Magnesium Glycinate

Being in college, I have noticed my sleep schedule does not operate as well as it does when I’m at home. I can imagine it being due to the constant workload and stress, and during my second year, I have had more issues sleeping than I have ever had before. I tried melatonin, however, I feel as though this only made the problem worse. After doing more research, I began to take magnesium glycinate. Magnesium glycinate is beneficial when it comes to bettering sleep as it helps calm the nervous system and relaxes your muscles. It also helps reduce levels of anxiety, which has helped make my night routine stress-free.
